H2O Works⢠Horizontal Split Case
Clean Water Pumps
The HSC is our H2O Works⢠heavy lifter. This pump is widely used to move clear water or low-viscosity, clear industrial process liquids at moderate heads. A fine combination of volume with ample head, this rugged, simple design offers extended service life, reduced maintenance costs and minimum power consumption. The split casing provides easy access to all rotating parts. This proven design concept meets Hydraulic Institute Standards in capacities from 50 gpm to more than 100,000 gpm, with single stage heads to 550 ft and two-stage heads to 1,150 ft. Available with up to 48-in. discharge outlets, these H2O Works pumps can be designed in vertical, horizontal and custom configurations to meet individual needs, including Zero Flush Technology. This is a sealing arrangement that requires no water. Wear rings protect the casing from wear. Ball or split sleeve bearings, located on both sides of the rotor, are enclosed in dust-proof cartridges. Twin stuffing boxes and double bearing construction ensure long packing life. Packed pumps are standard with split glands and a lantern ring. Replaceable packing box bushings protect the casing from packing wear. Optional mechanical seals are available. Bearing supports are integrally cast (12-in. discharge and below).

Turbine Clean Water Pumps
Todayās Patterson vertical turbine technology is the product of years of vertical pump experience. This refined design concept produces exceptional hydraulic performance, with low vibration and noise levels. Pumping sections can be staged as necessary to meet desired pressure requirements. H2O Works⢠Vertical Turbine units require only minimal floor space, and the pumps operate in low NPSHA applications. The high-pressure vertical turbine design is adaptable to a variety of industrial/municipal/power applications. They are capable of handling flows in excess of 30,000 gpm. Standard construction offers cast iron discharge heads from 6 in. to 14 in., with fabricated steel column, stainless steel head and bowl shafts, alloy steel line shaft and cast iron bronze fitted bowls. Bowls are available in diameters ranging from 12 in. through 40 in. Open line shaft construction is standard; enclosed line shafts are available. Special construction requiring stainless steel or aluminum bronze is available, and fabricated steel heads in lieu of cast iron are available in both above and below grade discharge configurations.

Cutter pumps
Cutter, slicer, chopper pumps are used to address the urgent need to reduce clogging due to ragging. With the increased use of āflushableā materials , the issue of clogging, which leads to downtime, pump destruction, and pipe damage, has increased significantly. Useful in municipal, agricultural, and other markets, the pumps design allows material to pass through the impeller that would tend to clog a non-cutter pump.
